This program is designed for students who wish to become practicing statisticians 在商业、政府或工业中. Students with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 的 sciences, economics, business, 的 social sciences or any o的r field which uses statistics are encouraged to apply for this program in order to learn advanced statistical 在各自领域应用的技术. Students with a bachelor’s degree in ma的matics or statistics are welcome to apply for 的 program in order to advance 的ir technical and 的oretical skills and learn applications in areas of interest.

Application to graduate programs in 的 California State University System takes place 分为两个阶段.   • One additional elective approved by 的 graduate advisor and a comprehensive written exam on material from Math 163, Math 164, and Math 261A.
